The foundation has run various projects in Sierra Leone:


Arms for Development


Villagers hand in 120 guns in return for development funding.


Training local sensitization field-team to collect arms in return for development funding for the UNDP, 2005.


De War Dun-Dun Festival


Helena Parsons demonstrates aerial techniques during rehearsals for the final performance.


In January 2006 we mounted a De War Don Don festival in Rokel, Sierra Leone using local performers including amputees. This was a celebration marking the 5th year of peace since the civil war when an estimated 40,000 victims suffered amputation of limbs.


The Most Liquid Currency in the World


This is the play by US playwright Egan Reich based on research undertaken in Sierra Leone with the foundation's assistance. The play was performed in Chicago in 2006.
