The Young Foundation Group!
Remarkable international journeys

Young Foundation members have the opportunity of taking part in powerful theatre experiences world-wide.
These have included:
- India, 2002: two members accompanied adults creating a circus show with children who survived the Gujarat earthquake in India.
- Kosovo, 2003: two members accompanied a professional company performing in front of a crowd of 7,000 in Skenderai, Kosovo, celebrating the end of the civil war there.
- Sierra Leone, 2006: three members accompanied international volunteers as they staged a spectacular fire-performance with amputees from the civil war, in Rokel, one of the epicentres of the fighting.
- Haiti, 2006: two members taught circus skills to adult Haitian artists from Caravane de la Paix a pro-peace arts company who reached 1 million Haitians 2006-7.
- Somalia, 2010-11: two members are due to visit Somalia to teach "poi" circus skills to Muslim girls unable to learn other skills because of cultural sensibilities
